Enjoy a horseback ride on deer and elk trails through the beautiful Northwest area of Colorado. Ride the Steamboat Horses through wildflower meadows, far from civilization. 1-hour rides, 2-hour rides, and half day rides with a sack lunch are available in the summer months. All rides will have groups no larger than 18 riders. Please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Summer horseback rides begin May 15, and will run through September 30, 2021. Rides are offered Monday through Saturday. Transportation is not provided for the summer rides. Del’s Triangle 3 Ranch is a 45 minute drive from Steamboat Springs. Guests should arrive at the ranch 15 minutes before ride time. Children must be at least 8 years old, and able to mount and ride a horse on their own, no riding double. Maximum weight per rider is 250 pounds.


Snowshoes allow you to get to areas even the most experienced skier cannot reach. For a truly unique experience while visiting Steamboat, explore the Yampa Valley while you take in the beautiful scenery of the Yampa Valley on snowshoe.


The Christie Peak Express high-speed chairlift whisks you to top of Christie Peak (8,000’) to embark on your night adventure across five trails including Sitz, See Me, Vogue, Stampede and Lil’ Rodeo. All levels of skiing and riding will be available with two beginner, two intermediate and one advanced trail. Stay up late with us as you cruise down 1,100 vertical feet of terrain under state-of-the-art Ultra-Tech™ Lighting that significantly improves the night skiing experience.


Take a ride up Mt. Werner and enjoy the views that can only be appreciated from Steamboat's new eight-passenger gondola. The Gondola is open daily, weather permitting, 8:30am - 3:30pm, November 20, 2021 through April 11, 2022.

Scenic Gondola Ride is for foot passengers only. Guests will not be permitted to board the gondola with skis or snowboard equipment (snowshoes and poles are OK).


The Outlaw Mountain Coaster stretches over a mile, at more than 6,280 linear feet long. All-season sleds carry riders past Christie Peak Express as they descend more than 400 vertical feet, rise up to 40 feet above the ground, and follow winding dips, waves, and 360-degree turns. 54" minimum height requirement to operate alone. Passengers must be at least 38" and riding with a supervising companion above 54" and older than 16.
